Applying for spouse visa (salaried + bonuses)
hi there im new here
im trying to apply for a spouse visa but i have a few questions
my basic sallary is £15,892 per annum
however i get bonuses and shift premuims added on to my payslips every month
i get payed monthly
on my monthly payslips my basic pay is £1324.33
(this is always the same in every payslip)
im looking at all the last 6months payslips right know in front of me
the minimum bonuses i reaceved in the last 6 months on one of my payslips was £185
the minimum shift premium i reaceved in the last 6 months on one of my payslips was £66.40
and on all other payslips bonuses and shift premiums are way over that
is this sufficent income to meet the requirement
reply would be great
thanks in advance

Re: Applying for spouse visa (salaried + bonuses)
Add up all your bonuses and premiums for past 6 months; divide by 6 to find average.
Add this figure to your monthly salary. If it comes to over 1,550 per month then you have reached the monthly level to equate to a 18,600 annual salary.

Re: Applying for spouse visa (salaried + bonuses)
here are the calculations
Bonuses and Shift Premiums and Holiday and Shift Premium Holiday Pay Reaceved in the last 6 months are TOTAL £2,547.35
DIVIDE BY 6 = £424.5 Then added to my basic monthly pay £1324.33
TOTAL £1670.57
when applying do i need a cover letter from company explaining BONUSES AND SHIFT PREMIUMS on my payslip
Because the cover letter they gave me only explains
company name
nature of job
from what day i have been employed from
explains permanent employed
shows salary for annum which is £15.892
(nothing about bonouses or shift premiums)
wil this be enough info for the case handler,
thanks in advance

To be absolutely sure the ECO has all the information regarding salary, bonus' and premium payments it would benefit you for this to be in the employment letter. The more info the better.
