Accommodation info for Visa application
Hello,
We're just starting our visa application, hopefully moving back to England from the US in January! As part of the application it asks for details of house we'll be living in when we return.
When we first get back, we'll be renting but don't have somewhere lined up yet. I was wondering what other people put down for their application. I can give my families address, but we won't actually be living there, or do I need to have actual proof of rented accommodation?
Any info is greatly appreciated.
Cheers,
Jon

Ha! Interesting, I had not thought of that as something that would be required when applying from abroad. How do they expect you to secure anything without being home?
I will be interested to hear what others did.
Your post may be moved to the visa side. You may want to do that anyway.

I would use family address, (as it's a stable address after all) use that as your 'base' while the visa processes, then once you get the visa move anywhere you want.
My wife uses my mothers address as (place of stay) when she applies for tourists/family visas all the time (never had a problem)
