shenzien area or simalar near a costal line. may want to open up a small buisness. if not . buy a bigger house and rent out the rooms not used in it .
id really appreiate any input on this cheers

It's unlikely you'll be able to do this in China unless you have a Chinese spouse.

Have you considered Thailand? It would be considerably cheaper and easier than going to China.

why is it harder in china than thailand. and also im just looking to see the prices of property for a 3 or 4 bed home to rent some of it out ... and live a comfortable life .. ive prostrate cancer and i hate this cold shxit lifestyle ..... and id like to see a bit of sun in my last few years.

Well for starters China doesn't do a retirement visa so unless you're married to a Chinese citizen or are willing to invest huge sums into the Chinese economy you're unlikely to qualify for a permanent visa so it's a bit of a non-starter already.

Thailand on the other hand has a specific retirement visa and the cost of living is lower than China. If you're looking for some sun and sand Thailand would be a better bet.

Google "retiring in Thailand", there's plenty of information available.

Thailand also has better medical care than Shenzhen, fwiw.

Or start a thread in the Thailand section on here. Plenty of folks in Thailand who can advise re retirement. I doubt you'd get medical insurance for any existing condition in Thailand so you'll need to factor in the cost for private med expense.
