Any Brits in Beijing?
Hi Everyone,
I've just moved to Beijing as a 'trailing spouse', been here a week, however, we did do a pre-move trip here & found an apartment so we're settling in ok. Hubby is at work every weekday and I'm at home most of the time trying to be brave and go out & about on my own
I realise it's early days but I'm feeling lonely and missing my 3 adult children who stayed in the UK
A bit about me, I'm female, 47 years young! I enjoy socialising and do plan to find some sort of work here, be it voluntary or paid, whichever interests me the most. I'm an outgoing person but quite nervous about being here, it's such a culture shock from the UK.
Are there any Brits or other nationalities, living in & around the CBD area (or further afield who might encourage me to use the subway on my own) who might want to meet up for coffee? I'd love to hear from you.
