Default Another HK Query - Haggling Prices

Hi

Is it true that rental prices advertised for property in Hong Kong can and should be haggled-down? Is it an accepted practice and what would you consider the average negotiation price %?

thanks!

I would give it a shot--can't hurt. My wife and I haggled our price down about from 16k to 14k for a flat in Manhattan Heights, but she is a very good haggler. She even got a flat screen at Fortress down about 10%.
