potential move to CR
http://www.costaricandeals.com/escaz...in-Escazu.html
This is the propety I would like to rent. They have an email contact form, but have got response. I am in Dubai, and seems divorce or a separation is in the cards. We were married in CR just a bit ago,..Sept 08.
Can anyone help me get in touvch with this company? I read AM Costa Rica on line weekly, and have been browsing Tico times. I have visited CR about 15 times, and this may be my dream come true.
Thank much for any and all help MB

And do they advertise in TT or anywhere else legit?
From their T&C page:
Copyright Notice
© 2001-2005 Unicorn Multi Media de Costa Rica, S. A.
San Jose, Costa Rica
+(506) 272 4071
Things that make me go 'hmmm':
The copyright has been left to expire in 2005.
One of the two links on their link page is dead (and both links seem to be for German credit card solicitations)
google returns NO reviews or customer comments anywhere; the search doesn't return what I like to see in a legit business.
They look like an ad farm.
Registrant Search: "Unicorn Multi Media de Costa Rica S. A." owns about 95 other domains
Email Search: is associated with about 167 domains
Registrar History: 1 registrar
You can find more contact details by doing a whois search.
I wouldn't give them money, especially not from overseas.
Is that really a competitive rent rate for that neighborhood?

Yeah, I figured out it was expired shortly thereafter.
It looks like the move is going ahead. I read somewhere about a dog friendly b and b, Cant remember where.
I guess my best option is get there and start the footwork, Thanks for the reply

La Nacion is the local newspaper you want to check out... lots of rentals if you read Spanish.
Or have a look on Craigslist
