I haven't herd of any Brits moving to Guyana, I would have thought it being an English speeking country the Brits would be flocking there soaking up the sun etc.
Why is this?

I lived I Guyana for fifteen years moving there from the UK in 1969. There were many advantages initially but power cuts, food shortages, water shortages etc made life challenging before we left in 1983. It is a beautiful country in many ways but continues to have problems with crime.
