Hi,any scots living in Merida Mexico
Hi,I have lived in Merida for 2yrs just wondering if any other scottish people are living in the city ,who would like to meet up,Neil

Just joined this site as I'm planning a move to Mexico in March. I'm currently working in London but am originally from Leven/Methill in Fife, although you wouldn't believe it from the accent.
I met my current girlfriend 8 years ago in Tulum QR and we have now bought land there and will start building our home very soon.
She has family in Merida so we will be visiting often. It will also be our first stop as she has all her belongings with her family.
Would be great to meet up in March if you'll still be around then.
What do you do in Merida?

Hi Glenn,thanks for the reply.Im from Edinburgh so we are almost neighbours! You are going to live on the Mayan Riviera,fantastic my gf and I just came back from a week in Cancun.My gf is from Mexico City but most of her family live in Merida ,we live in Fracc. Franciso de Montejo.Yeah I will still be here in march .What I do ,is work 6 months in Canada then come here in the winter for 6 months like a "snowbird".I will send you my email by private message ok,cheers Neil
