Default Dress Code St Lucia

Don't really know how to ask this question so please bear with me.

We have visited certain countries where it has been advised to hide any signs of affluence. As such, we dress down and my wife leaves her designer bags and shoes at home in the UK.

I don't think this applies to St Lucia ( we will be staying in the Rodney Bay area) but need to be doubly sure before packing.

Hi

Although the island is fairly safe and Rodney Bay is a tourist area I would not advise walking around looking too affluent. People do wear Rolex's etc but I really wouldn't advise it. I live here and just take out a plain handbag when I go out. Much the same as anywhere else in the world really.

Enjoy your holiday!

That is easy enough then. We don't have Rolex watches to flash (yet)
