Smile One year anniversary and loving it!!

I've never been good at 'forums' but just want to say to all those working on immigrating to Canada that it took us 6 years!!! and lots of frustration but it was worth it. It's a great country with good people and good values. No place is perfect but Canada ticks most of our boxes!! Hang in there and you will be glad you did.
Cheers! Mimi and Gordon

Congratulations! Glad to hear that it eventually all worked out for you!

How did you find your first year? Did it live up to your expectations or were there some bumps in the road?

6 years?! Good grief. Glad you're there and settling after all that.

We've been going back and forth about a job in Canada for nearly 2 years now. Such a roller coaster. Should know for sure if it's going to happen after Christmas though thank goodness, I don't know how much more I could take 😂 Certainly not 6 years of it.......
