It's my 1st Canniversary
Well, I arrived in Toronto one year today, changed planes for Calgary, changed again for Saskatoon and landed at 11:15pm after a long and tiring journey from Ynyshir in Wales.
I love Canada, specifically Saskatchewan.
I've just got a work permit, but no job :curse:
I sent our paperwork of to Buffalo this morning on the second leg of our journey that is called Permanent Residency.
We've bought our own bit of Saskatchewan that needs to be winterised and is taking longer than we thought due to the housing boom in Regina and the contractors being "busy" man.
I've bought a gas guzzling truck. We have our old van parked in the yard, all it needs now is a blue tarp over it and we'll look just like our neighbours.
All is right with the world.

Congratulations on your first Canniversary!
You'll never have this again .... but you still get to celebrating when you get PR, then the anniversary of that, then getting citizenship, then the first anniversary of that ..... oh well, lots more celebrating to come then!

Thank you for the congratulations and karma.
Siberia, yes Gingnut it's starting to feel a bit like that here and we still have up to 6 weeks before the gas is installed so if you have a spare basement..............
