8 years ago today....
 

....it was a Thursday. I remember it so well.
Flying Air Transat Club class (for the extra baggage limit) and seated in row 1A.

I was so scared, sad to leave my parents behind, yet looking forward to giving it my all and making it here.

Fast forward eight years and here I am, still here and doing better than I ever thought I would be.

I have two fabulous children (age 2.5 and 9 months) and loving guy by my side, a decent job that I love and work with some great people, and somehow have two houses.

Life is good. Still miss my parents....that will never change, but Canada has really made me complete and so happy.

I hope all those just starting out to make a life here are successful and happy. It's damn hard work, but so worth the effort.
