It's so good to 'hear' you so much happier; congrats on the g/f and life being good finally.
I totally relate to your feelings about the UK and the little odd things you miss - the only things I miss really are Country pubs and castles!
I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that the g/f is a keeper..
