what is the Time for issuing LP From Damascus

My Interview & Medical were over in the month of Augest-2001.when can i expect my LP from Damascus embassy.Anybody knows regarding this please give information.Looking forward for reply

This is a more difficult question than it appears to be. The "normal" time would be
about 4 or so months after the medical ezamination was completed. Now it can be much
longer. Sorry to say but that is how things have been going there. The embassy has
been under reconstruction since last Summer and the recent WTO events have not
