Website Design help?
I need to get a website going, and have been thinking that I might use Wix? It looks to be fairly user friendly. Have any of you used it or done this, alternatively I have looked at Vista Print as I often order cards from them. Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Website Design help?
We used iPage to get one going. It was cheap and had very easy to use tools to build a website from scratch, including many templates. In the end I bought an app called Freeway Express and did it on the computer and uploaded it. More flexibility.
I think most of the popular sites offer "build it yourself" tools now. They're very straightforward and if it's a good host they will have tech teams who will help you when needed.

How much is the hanger costing or an engine overhaul? Don't skimp on your first impression or a lost customer. Building the site is the easy part, getting the graphics and making it work together takes a lot.
We spent $8k on our site and it was worth every penny. The designer used Joomla, which is open source CMS, avoid ones who use their own CMS, this ties you to them on their terms (the other $2k went on learning this). They tell you theirs is better, it is, for them.

We offer this service too. Our company started off by making websites for individuals. Now we make them for corporations, colleges and universities.
Depends on what you want at the end of the day. Many people settle for a Wordpress site these days as it suits their needs and is easy to set up and maintain.

Get a professional web designer, choose one who is also a graphic designer. There are plenty who can code, much less who are good with design. A bad website is worse than no website.

Even Joomla can need some coding and knowing how to use it.
The web co we use because they hire graphic designers, not because they can use Joomla or code HTML.
The money we spent was good value and re recouped it very quickly.

Re: Website Design help?
For the last couple of thousand years of my life my husband and I have discussed ad nauseum the 'right' plan for a small airport....we tried our best in France to no avail (my husband grew up on a couple of small airports that his parents operated in BC and he had a small flight school in the UK...and we have now decided that life is too short....if we don't do it now, well then we will always have just have discussed it.....Might we go bankrupt? Indubitably....will we enjoy getting there....undoubtedly! It might work, and perhaps not...presently I'm hopeful....
Some of you out there are far better at this than us....but.
