Urgent Landing in June 1st - Andrew please advice

Hi,
I am Landing on June 1st from US. My Visa is expiring on June 12th and I am working in US on H1 B.
1.) I am NOT getting my GC processed my currect employer.EVEN NO GC application ever filed in US.
2.) I want to move to Canada permenantly.
The reason of getting delayed is that I am waiting to get a job offer from a Canadian company. I am a IT professional. Also I am not talking all my things from US. Soon I get a job offer, I will get my stuff moved. Hopefully in 3-4 months after landing. I am having a hard time because not many company are hiring now in Canada.
My question is will immigration official give me hard time because of this. I am ready to give an affidavit that my GC is not being filed in US in case they thing I am trying to abuse the process ...
