What, you mean explaining the best option?

Makes no sense to use a CAD or GBP card in the US, just get a card in the local currency, the fee is peanuts and costs less than the exchange rate costs.

Well the point is you will still have to change Canadian Currencey to USD to pay it into a US bank to pay Credit or Debit card bill and the Bank will still get there grubby little hands on 2 to 3%.
Now if you use one of the chase cards it avoids this fee as they change commercial bank rates and also you get a cash 1% rebate on top. Making your purchase 3 to 5 % cheaper and probably more convenient.
