I've been lurking around these forums for some time but haven't had a need to post before. I'm moving to Toronto next month and am looking for work in photography, film, or TV. I have PR so no restrictions. I remember that someone (not sure who now) in a post some time ago suggested Toronto was better than Vancouver when it came to this field.

Does anyone have any advice on breaking into the industry there? Is it mostly freelance/contractor work, or employee-based? Are there good talent pools/Facebook groups/recruitment agencies or contacts for this sort of thing?
