Default Toronto

We are a professional expat family of 4 with potential relocation to Toronto.
The questions I have relate to schooling, housing, vehicles. My two daughters require special needs (on high functioning end of autism spectrum), so any experiences (positive or negative). In Australia we used private schooling where as here in New Zealand the state (school dependent) has been perfectly adequate. Both are social butterflies but require teacher aides for academia, while in mainstream schooling. For housing would just appreciate a heads up on areas (to save time and evaluate for combination of schooling and office search as will be setting up Canadian office). Ideally commuting preference order would be first walking to work, then public transport, then using a car. For vehicles if someone could point me in the direction of most common websites for perusing? Thank you for reading

Default Re: Toronto

The immediate problem is that the places that are usually cited as being desirable to live and which offer good schools and services; Leaside, Beach, High Park, for example, are within the bounds of Toronto proper. An office located within Toronto will be subject to very high business taxes. If you were to set the office up in some godforsaken suburb, Oakville for example, costs would be appreciably lower.
