Apologies for creating a new thread, but I'm new to this forum and I'm finding hard to find an answer in the existing threads.

I'm a Network Engineer specialising in Telecommunications/ISP industry and what I'm trying to find out is what Internet Services Providers (ISPs) are in the Ontario area who might consider someone from the UK?

I can see from searches on sites like Canadian ISP - Select a province from the drop-down menu, above, to begin your search for an ISP, that there's several smaller ISPs and a few national ones; and I'm hoping to compile a list of companies that I can approach and ask what their hiring policies are and what requirements they have on hiring UK citizens.

sorry can't help you much but wishing you good luck! I'm in same line of work and have been trying to understand the market a bit better using the CRTC reg site as an example. There's also this guy who blogs about the industry there Mark H. Goldberg & Associates Inc. Telecommunications Consulting Services, might be worth checking out or even getting in touch with.
