I did get credit for English 12 though which I found odd since I received 60% both semesters which is not an acceptable percentage for college credit in California, but it is here?
Immigrants especially East Indian do well in my industry, they are usually the owners.

Metric was largely given up in the state when it became clear the feds were not going to switch over..
I have a co-worker who is a doctor, just learned that. Well respected doctor in his home country. Google is your friend in cases like this...lol
Now he works for 11/hr, and not sure if he is going to try and pursue medicine here, sounds like a very long, difficult path for him to do so.

Your remarks about Honoris Causa reminded me of my former boss when I worked in Germany. Even before he won a Nobel Prize in 1995 he had numerous honorary doctorates. Now in Germany, they love long, complete, titles so he was "Professor Dr. Dr. h.c mult. Erstename Nachname.
And his wife, of course, was Frau Professor Dr. Dr. h.c. mult ...
