Default Reality check trip, Calgary - any suggestions?

Hi all,

Sorry if this has already been asked but my family is heading out to calgary in March for a reccie and I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions of must do things?

I'm already planning to check out neighbourhoods, housing, cost of living and maybe (if I can make some connections) head to some hospitals to check out job prospects (work in hr & recruitment for doctors in an NHS hospital here in the UK). Is there anything obvious I've missed? Clearly having some fun and experiencing the city is on the list too 😊

Love the forums - they keep me sane while saving eery spare penny for EE 😁

Thanks all

Try the Calgary Tower ,its pretty cool and the Heritage Park www.heritagepark.ca/.
Downtown Stephen Ave a few tourist shops and pubs ,17 ave is also good for pubs and restuarants ,also on Center St you have the wee chinatown and there is Prince"s Island Park, the zoo on Memorial Drive if not too cold, hope this helps.

Go to Seton, sounds like a must-do for your list. New houses, big ass hospital.

It's a good idea to go to Lake Louise at this time of year, less tourists about and it looks more interesting with the snow.
