Visited Burlington about 15 mins up from Oakville. What a NICE PLACE!! you were right, both of these villages/towns are wonderful and plently of things to see/do

the walk along the sea front was especially nice

That'll be the second time in three years that the Judges has tried to go upmarket. I wonder where all my old cronies have gone now. I couldn't stand the Queens.

a good friend of mine (from dartford) has recently taken his electricians courses, he found them easy, so he can work legally on his own, although his british trade allows him to work in the industry at a large factory in toronto

im not overly keen either, prefer the kings head although dublins gate at the top of neyagawa is ok as is rumours on 3rd line....much closer to home too

If you like that, Toronto also has strip joints in which the dancers keep their clothes on and ethnic restaurants where only Yorkshire pudding is served.

Agreed that the Kings is much nicer. I was really stuffed when we moved up to the College Park earlier. The only two places within walking distance were Monaghans and Time Out Mickeys, both of which are Sports Bars (yuk).

time out mickeys never heard of it.
monaghans..been in there, very studenty due to its location to sheriden college i suppose
what about the roxy on kerr :scared: never been there ..............yet

That sounds like an interesting place....NOT!! Was scared out of my wits at my landing hotel!..REALLY glad to get away from there!

Time Out Mickeys, also known as Pitchers, is on Sixth Line just South of Upper Middle. I've never been in anywhere on Kerr, although I've heard that Roxy's gets a little interesting at times.

oh yes ive been in pitchers, only the once for a game of pool. very decieving bar, a lot bigger inside than it looks from the outside.

did you ever frequent finnigans wake on speers

Only very, very occasionally. Have you tried the (relatively) new Niblick? Boy that place gets packed.

yes the niblick, go in occasionally, good food as well. we usually have my sons hockey teams fundraising night there.
