Hi,

Can anyone tell me about the new regulations i.e. 2 out of 5 years requirement to maintain PR status? When is it going to be implemented? Do we still need an RRP? Does it mean that I can make my first landing and go out after staying for a month to continue my job and return every year for a short provided I meet the 2 out of the 5 years residence in Canada? Will the rule make it easier or stiffer for people who want to continue working with the previous empoloyment before they finally find a 'suitable' job in Canada and plan to actually settle. Thanks, bakwaasbn
