I have just applied for independent immigration to Canada.
The problem is with my occupation.
I got a Master's
in Accounting in my original country, and worked one year
as an accountant there. Then I got a Master's degree in
Economics from US, currently I am pursuing a Master's
in Computer Science in US. In my intended occupation, I wrote "Computer Programmer, System Analyst, Financial
Analyst".
What is the chance of my being approval as an independent
immigrant? My husband is a computer programmer, he has
a Master's degree and is currently working in US on
H-1B, will his condition help?
Thank you very much.

You must have at least one year of work experience after being qualified = in your
occupation. Without this, you cannot be assessed in your = intended occupation and
should suggest alternate occupation(s).
Your husband, if he conforms to above, will be best suited to the = principal
applicant post.

Dear Berto:
Thank you for your reply. The problem is that: I have already submitted the application. Do I need to resubmit
a form with the intended occupation changed? Or do I need
to change the principal applicant? How do we change the principal applicant during the process of the application? I haven't received the file no, yet.
Thanks and Best wishes
Helen
