H1B-holder

Hi,

I have applied for PR through Buffalo and have just received AOR (after 3 months). I am in the US on an H1B visa, but have decided that I really don't want to stay here, even until I get my visa so am going to return to my own country.

My question is should I leave my application here in Buffalo, I think I should be able to visit the US on a visa waver in order to attend an interview if required. Or would it be better to transfer the application as I believe this takes a long time - it would be transferring to London.

Dear H1B1 Holder: The time processing between US and London is about the same. If
you move your file you will have to pay another CAD$ 100, and you will lose about
another 3 months of time for transfer of application. In my opinion, especially
since you can come to USA for interview, it is best you leave your file alone in
USA, as long as you can get your correspondence on your file from USA. Wishing you
