Default Kids Health Record

Hello all,
I was wondering if you give a bit of guidance. Just sorting my landing documents before setting off next month. Will my daughter's redbook that contains all the immunisations she has taken be sufficient or do I need to present a letter from the gp?
Thanks

For landing? Nothing is needed other than your COPR, passport etc. You may want to have her immunisation record for school purposes though.

I found the red books really useful as a record of immunization for school. We didn't have anything else from the GP.

You will need the immunization records to register her in school, but that's the only time I had to prove my kids had been immunized. Just an FYI, when you register with a GP here, make sure to take your child's immunization records so they can log them in their system. Your GP can check the dates of the jabs, but you may find that you child will need repeats of some of the vaccines she's already had. They vaccinate on a different schedule here and are very strict about enforcing it. My kids had to have their DPTP again because they had it before they turned 4 as well as Men-C because they had it before they turned 1.

Red book is sufficient. We used it to prove UK immunization records in Canada and the US.

Thank you all. I was a bit concerned as the COPR I received included a form that should be completed by someone from the gp surgery listing all the immunisations my little one has taken.
I shall have my redbook at hand just in case.

The GP's office can print out a list of vaccines and dates if you're concerned. Ours did before we moved.
