Hi all,
I am after a bit of information and hope someone in here can help.
I have obtained the services of an attorney to represent my case. I have had a number of small problems from them and am very unhappy with the way they are treating me. Here are a few of the problems.
Problem with the way that I was being talked to by their colleagues.
Not getting the complete service that I signed up for. When I get to my interview, I am informed that I should have had some documents (Police reports)
They disregarded payment options that was agreed from the start. And now are asking for two big payments
I have spoken to a UK lawyer regards to my contract and they informed me that I had 3 options
Cancel contract and contact CHC and get all correspondences directed back to myself.
Ask for a reduction in my fees and carry on using them
Shut up and carry on using them.
I am very concerned as I do not want to jeopardise my application. I have e-mail my attorney to find out what they want to happen and I have had no reply. Can I contact the CHC and get all correspondence directed to myself instead of my attorney?
Cheers
Steve

Hi:
You can always fax a letter to the CHC advising them that you will be representing
yourself, and that all correspondence is to be directed to yourself.
Yours truly, Ingrid Y. Chen, B.A., LL.B.
