The Icelandair website says
All pets travelling to U.K. must be transported as cargo consignment. Please contact Icelandair Cargo for further information on transport of animals to/via the U.K.

I could be wrong but I don't think the UK allows animals in via passenger planes. I think you have to use a special pet carrier service.

So Air Canada is a passenger service and they transport pets, Just the same as Icelandair do too. I'm not sure exactly what you mean. How else are our pest supposed to get to where we're heading? it sure isn't a dedicated aircraft lol

Sorry, I just checked, it's that they don't allow pets to arrive flying in the cabin. The cargo is fine. The UK has strict rules on importing animals & only allow certain airlines to carry them so make sure whatever airline you choose is on the approved list.
