The other day a large envelop turned up in the mail. It was a remake of one of my lost work references.

A controlling abusive ex shredded it along with everything else, original school records, referenses etc. All originals. He told me point blank he didn't think I needed it so instead of making xerox copies of them (as I asked) he stuck them in the shredder.
