You can find houses in, say, Chilliwack within your budget. They will be older houses needing (a lot of) work. Also, for that price there could well be other reasons why they don't sell for more so I would spend some time getting to know the city and area before committing.

yes, like being former grow-ups.

there's one across the street from us for sale ...the neighbour next to it (helpfully?) tells anyone who comes to see it that it used to be a grow-up. Fair call, I guess.
