Hello , Can any one recommend a good hotel in Toronto / Ontario thats good value for money, but not sitting on top of the airport.

The Westin Harbour Castle is "good value", but its not cheap.
Strathcona and Days Inn are both ones my parents like. Strathcona is more downtown. Days inn has a pool
If you have kids the Delta Chelsea comes recomended.
Really there is a huge choice, so it depends on budget and what you want to be near.

I've stayed at the Old Quality Hotel, now Holiday Inn Express on Lombard St, right by Queen and Yonge!!
Awesome hotel, great price, great staff!!Never had a complaint! And its centrally located!!!

We stayed in The Comfort suites City centre 2 years in a row.
It is about a block away from the Eaton Centre.
Four of us shared a room (2 queen beds and a double sofa bed).
My older son was 19 so we were charged $10 extra for him. they count children (who stay free in parents room) up to 18 years.
It was less than £80 a night for all four of us including breakfast.
Nice modern clean hotel. Pool Gym etc.
