Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question. I am filling in form IMM00008, and the instructions say use block letters. Should I use capitals (as one of the examples says "NOT APPLICABLE" in all caps) or just mixed case? I will be typing it, so it will be legible.
Secondly, how much should I put in the funds box (Part B, no. 8)? I have a bank statement that shows I have at least the minimum (CDN$12000), but that amount will be different by the time everything is processed, plus, do I have to have it with me (as a money order, say), or is it sufficient to have an up to date bank statement? Also, should my wife put the same figure, or zero, or should we put half of the amount each?
Thirdly, my job title does not reflect what I actually do. I want to apply as a computer programmer, but my title is as a manager (of other computer programmers), and I was (and still am) a programmer. Do I have to be very specific, or will the authorities know that an embedded systems programmer and firmware engineer are the same?
Thank you.
