Claim UK State pension in Canada

Re: Claim UK State pension in Canada
I can't remember if I mentioned it here but I wanted to get the "no UK tax" form sorted out so I delayed the claim, but still left enough time.
The amount that's appeared in the bank closely matches my own calculation eligible, right up to date.

I think they messed up somewhere though and that it's normally much quicker.
The guy I spoke to seemed genuinely surprised the second I said I sent it in September, this was before he looked me up.
Upon seeing my records he couldn't understand why it wasn't done. I took this to mean that he had seen enough on screen to see that it was virtually done, as in somebody had made all the input necessary, but just hadn't clicked on the final part.

HMRC wants a form stamped by CRA to confirm you are tax resident in Canada.

My hubby applied via phone this week and the lady there never mentioned anything about the tax...

So no need to do anything if it's only UK state pension.
