I would have agreed with Rich a couple of years ago but am not so sure what it is but I feel that they aren't as good as they were - nothing specific, just 'ok' food. They remain busy so it may be just me. Tripadviser and Urban Spoon praise The Golden Crown on 28th Ave, I haven't tried that one. Kelowna I'm sure has more choice!

Outside of Vancouver(and Richmond, Burnaby, etc.) most Chinese restaurants serve Westernized Chinese food for bland palates. Some people are perfectly fine with this. If you make it to the Lower Mainland, I can make a few recommendations. Otherwise, keep your expectations low.
