My family and I are planning a recce trip to Ontario next year April.

I've done alot of research into hotels and car hire in Ontario and found that they're quite pricy.

Please can you advise on reasonable short stay condo/apartment and car hire for 2 weeks in Oakville/Milton/Mississauga.

This company have short term executive suites which might be of use:

What price are you looking at? What have you been quoted? How many bedrooms do you need?

I was hoping to get something for £60 per night but found things over £100 per night.

We're looking for 2 bedrooms.

The Staybridge has long term rates (i.e. over 7 days) for a suite, including kitchen facilities, for $119 plus tax - which works out around £84 a night. The suite has a separate bedroom with a privacy wall and a sofa bed.

You didn't mention if the price you wanted to pay is per room or the total though - nor how old your children are... most hotels will not let under 18's stay in a room alone... if you really want 2 bedrooms then you are probably looking at a suite.

There are a lot of hotel deals for under $100 a night - I suggest looking at these websites:

I found a 2 bedroom (1 king, 2 queen beds) extended stay hotel in Vaughan for $149.99 pn

Your best bet is to do a google.ca search for extended stay hotels or extended stay 2 bedroom suites.

I did find this in Mississauga - 2 bedroom condo's priced at $104 a night (it gets cheaper the longer you stay) but I don't know anything about them.

Marriot Residence Inn Mississauga has 1 and 2 bedroom suites starting at $129 a night.
