In which case don't feel obliged to join the discussion on our account.
I'm sure you have better things to do than hanging around being a party-pooper.

Hmm it might be a weekend trip. Honestly I crave the stuff. Didn't think I would. But I miss that and spearmint polos of all things.

yeah its about 40mins drive depending on what side of the city you are. Actually last time we were there they had polos too - hubby got some. Not sure if they were spearmint, just regular I think.

Having visited the British Folklorama pavilion with a mate, and being the only two genuine Brits there (anyone without an accent is a fake!), we have decided that it is time Winnipeg had an expat community. I miss banter... so does he.

Pete (late 30's from somewhere near Birmingham - 6 months Winnipegger) and myself (Chris, early 30s from West London, 1.5 years a Winnipegger) we will be having a drink or three at the Round Table on Pembina at 8 ish on 22nd January. Dan the Irish guy from Dublin, and Jamie the Scot from... Scotland may also come too.

Message below or PM me if you are interested in coming along and meeting some reasonably nice people!

I went to the Scottish Folkorama a couple of years ago,it was ok nothing fantastic. Its a pain in the bum having to buy a ticket a one table and having to walk over to another table to get a drink.
I wont be in Winnipeg until April but if your still having meet ups,I will come along.
Im scottish eh.
