We are looking to buy property in Barrie or London, so that is why we are tracking monthly price trends. Just thought other expats would be interested, nothing more......

Sales volume (85 sold) appears to be falling in Jan 2018 with the average selling price above $508k again.

Over 445 new properties came on the market in the last 28 days.

More 4 Bedroom property sales (19) and less 2 bedroom property sales (11) have caused the spike up in average price by 10.6%

Current Barrie MLS stats indicate an average house price of $454,047 a 20% fall over a year with 654 new listings in the last 28 days. As of today, Barrie housing data shows median days on market for a home is 26 days.

4 bedroom property sales (19)

I don’t think you can compare really with this time last year.
I was working for a realtor at the time and it was just plain crazy. So 20% down is more like a simple recovery from last years frenzy.
