Could you please tell me how long does the background and security check takes for an Indian National. I have lived in India for 22 years and presently living in the UK for the last 6 years.

Each case is unique and you can't predict your timeline based on someone else's, even
if circumstances are very similar. Background/security check in India may take
anywhere from couple of months to well over half a year to conclude.
