Finally arrived, slightly delayed update!
Hi all,
Bit of a delayed update on things but here it is.
We arrived in Toronto on 18th Jan & took the train to Saskatoon, arriving there on 22nd just after midnight. Was a very tiring journey.
Immigration & CBSA were all fantastic & helpful, so a huge thanks to all of them.
Hubby started his job at the beginning of Feb & we moved into our house on 1st Feb. Took us less than a week to sort our SIN's, house, phone, car etc.
It has been bloomin cold since we've been here, so I guess we can handle it! Was -42 when we got to Saskatoon!!!
Just sorting out furniture & things. Will need another car before long, but they are sooooooooooo expensive.
Anyhoo, we are all settling fine & looking forward to summer now! haha.

Re: Finally arrived, slightly delayed update!
Thank you.
In Toronto it was only -3 so I guess we were let-in gently! It keeps being mild for a few days(-3 to -10) & then going really cold again(-21 today).
Snow here is really pretty & sparkly! I don't mind the cold at all, but looking forward to summers of cycling & fishing on the lake with the family. Will be more financially settled in few months too, so that will make me more at ease.
I really do want my health cards to turn up though. The kids seem to spend a lot of time on their arses or face down, which is quite amusing to me! My son thought it would be good to fall of the monkey bars at school & hurt his wrist. Thankfully not broken but would have cost us $800 just to see someone!
