Not easily but Beaverquest wants them in a can. The can may as well be a jar. If they're in a jar they can be the glut from last summer. I know that not every person wants to dig up the lawn, plant tomatoes and then spend hours bottling them but we're pioneers in a foreign land and, as noted, the price of them is something shocking. Also turnips.
Ps, you can freeze tomatoes for cooking.

Then suck sealing (vacuum packing) has to be the way to go. It's cheap, once the machine is bought, and very space efficient.

the only things we have found are the size of a sparrow and cost around $11.
you have got to have beef to with it or go hungry

Chickens of 4-6lbs are readily available, at the market for a start. How big do you want your GM mutant monster? Home grown, not strictly legal, chickens are $3.50/lb here. $4.00 if you can convince the buyer that your choking is halal.

If you don't want to grow your own try and find a Hutterite or Mennonite Community and you'll get so good farm produce of them.
