What's the worst place you've been to lately?
Brisbane dump... Summer heatwave...
There appeared to me to be someone driving a bulldozer type vehicle backwards and forwards along a concrete chasm into which people throw their rubbish.
The bulk of the rubbish that I could see sat in large mounds on the other side of the concrete throwing in area. On top of the piles of rubbish, hungry Ibis foraged.
It was hot and I thought the smell was out of this World.
I hope people who work at the dump get paid lots of money.

Probably a mcdonalds near amtrak station downtown Seattle.
The furniture is arranged so you have to file through a one metre gap, guarded by a manager who is really a security guard. The next two customers are ejected, seems they like to shoot up with their fries.
Outside, scabby, aged, alien like teens ( my kids age) bounce around obviously high as hell, lives already wrecked, so sad, and decaing old junkies and grandma aged hookers, also high as hell deal with them.
2 cops on pushies appear, crowd of 40+ is gone in less than 5 seconds...
Best, a gospel church in Harlem, not the tourist one, and a african american meal in a cafe afterwards, most welcoming people all dressed in their sunday best, absolutely fantastic

The mulch at the green waste up here regularly self-combusts if it isn't split into small enough volumes, and it doesn't need to hot weather.

Been trying to think up a fish-themed "worst plaice" joke, but I've had a long day with a cranky baby and the reward wine has gone straight to my head. I'll leave a space below for a punchline and you can fillet yourself.
