My hubby was born in Ely and this used to be one of his favourite sayings along with oiyme not very broight but oiy can life eavy fings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Don't know why he remembered them cos he left when he was very young (born at the RAF camp cos his dad was in the service).

folks er dumb where I cums from
but it don't really matt-er
cus I comes up from Somer-set
and I can drive a track-ter

(it's compulsory to have had at least a couple of pints of scrum to sing this)
