Default TV time stuffed after clocks change

Anyone else experiencing anything like this? I'm experiencing this on my Sony Bravia TV (4 years old) and Olin PVR (2-3 years old).

Yesterday, I noticed a couple of programme markers on the TV, and recordings on the PVR, didn't happen. Confused, I quickly noticed the time on my TV was still an hour out - and same with the PVR. Checked settings - time set to Auto throughout.

Flicking through channels one by one this morning I've noticed that it seems to be the Prime channels stuffing me up.

If I start at 2, then chan+ one by one, all is fine. Until I hit the '6' channels - 6, 60, 61, 61, 63, 65, 68 - time suddenly jumps ahead. Scroll back round to the ABC channels - time corrects.

Region settings are all correct. I'm in Albury, NSW but have the TV think it is in VIC as Albury is right on the border with Wondonga Vic and that's where our TV comes from.

I'm sure this hasn't happened before.

Sounds similar to EPG, DST and your PVR - PVRs - Home theatre - Whirlpool Forums

Looks like time, etc. is send on a channel basis, and if they screw up the change, things can get screwy.

Well well. So I tweeted @Prime7Albury earlier. Said 'please get your clocks together'. No reply, obviously. Plebs like me don't get replies from big orgs.

But, wait, hold on, just a few hours later and guess what - the time on Prime is now fine! They won't admit to screwing up I'm sure, but I can't now see what else it could have been.

Prime7Albury .... big orgs ..... ?

I guess Kevin forgot to set the DST changeover, and since Kevin is also doing the social media, not saying anything about it means Kevin's dad won't chew him out.

Sorry I'm a bit slow.

So not only is Kevin unknown and unappreciated, we're taking the piss out of him too!

It is the lot in life of Kevins to have the piss taken out of them. It's such a weak sounding name - no superheros are called Kevin....

It's not exactly a great name if you want to go into politics either ...
