TPG unlimited Internet
Anyone using this service provider?
http://www.tpg.com.au/products_servi...mber/homephone
They are pushing their unlimited ADSL2 at the moment, wondering what people thought compared to likes of Telstra?

Re: TPG unlimited Internet
Can echo the others, we've had no issues with TPG.
We are outside their ADSL2 service area, but they now offer 'off-net' packages which use the Telstra service area for ADSL2. We're very happy to have unlimited internet now, for cheaper than the ADSL price we were paying for 50GB limit.
Fabby (sorry)

Do you have to have a Telstra or similar telephone home linen use? Or can you cancel normal phone and use mobile only and just use line for TPG ADSL 2?

Re: TPG unlimited Internet
a) keep your telstra connection, and pay for an adsl connection.
b) cancel your telstra connection, get a tpg home phone, and pay for your adsl connection.
or if you want to cancel your homephone entirely, you can do so and use "naked dsl". The problem is that the plans aren't as attractive. Also, I think it is useful having a reliable landline in emergency situations.

We don't get a mobile signal here (well, I can just about get 1 bar if I stand on one leg in the middle of the street and wave a coat hangar in the air) so we kept a landline.
