I believe that all of us who eat meat, should eat something that we have killed at least once in our lifetime
I have on several occasions. I never enjoyed it once but it gave a much better understanding of where we get our protein from

But it takes skill to kill an animal as quickly and painlessly as possible... and bashing away at an animal's skull with a rock while it lay there screaming and bleeding?
I couldn't do that unless I was literally starving to death and there was nothing else to eat.
So we carnivores don't all have the skill or opportunity to kill, butcher and then eat our prize.
