Something Different in WA
Those of you in the Perth-Bunbury corridor tired of the same old thing this weekend, should consider taking a drive down to Wagin (about a 2.5 hour drive from Perth) for Wool-o-Rama which is Friday and Saturday (but not Sunday).
Wool-o-Rama is one of the state's signature agricultural shows, and one I try to make sure I get to each year. I particularly enjoy the sheep-dog trials and speed-shearing competitions. There is also a rodeo on Saturday night.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

I rather like Wagin. Not a rodeo fan personally, but a big supporter of country localities staging events which gets people involved and attracts tourists as a bonus.
The Wool-0-Rama is a big country event and I'd certainly recommend it to city folk, or newly arrived, for a taste of Aussie country life.
