How about if somebody knew the victim, a colleague perhaps, updated their FB in sympathy? Credibility is not guaranteed, but is certainly possible on social media.

Hundreds of generations didn't have the opportunity to transport their thoughts to a widely dispersed group of people in an instant. If they did, they may have done the very same thing. The world changes.

As such it actually reduces the 'terrorism' of the attack - these are idiot thugs who have taken onboard a mishmash of ideas as an excuse for lashing out at society (something young men are prone to do). No real organisation, no real plan, no concept of the outcome - just revelling in violence. They have more in common with a drunk 17 year old glassing someone on a Friday night than trained military carrying out a planned operation.

These types of idiots aren't really a threat, they are thugs that need to be found and dealt with - same as any thug. The only threat would come if someone actually engaged their brain (and even that would be relatively easy to deal with).

What f***ing planet are you on ?????????

Yehp totally agree... A lot have already reached that consensus from my reading. There was a beheading in belsize park in 2005 that people have pointed out.

Just been watching the news and the Muslim council leaders have just spoken about the horror and have stood up against what happened. they said the people who did this do not represent the Muslim community or the Muslim teachings of Allah.

Good on them - respect.
