No, I'm saying the problem is religious zealots, all of them, and somehow giving them a pass because they claim their bigotry as 'religious'. There's a need to get religion to be a 'pastime' at most - and to treat the zealots as mentally ill. You hear voices, it shouldn't matter if you think they are from Napoleon or the deity of your choice - you need psychiatric help. That wasn't in the 'name of Islam' though was it, not really. It was some sad piece of shit who happened to be Muslim and who signed up with IS online and who was gay but who couldn't cope with being gay so he decided to shoot a load of people who were happy being gay.

I got the impression you were saying that Islam were responsible for their extremists murdering people and included this psycho shooting in Orlando in with that. I was simply stating that I didn't think Islam had much to do with his thought process.

Even if we managed to get rid of IS, we'd still have psychos from all the other religious fundamentalists shooting people and saying they were doing it in the name of <insert religion here>. We'd also still have psychos of no particular religion going into schools/cinemas etc and shooting as many people as possible simply because they're ****ed up.
