This is Scoot's first foray into Europe and truly long-haul travel.

Athens isn't particularly useful for me but hopefully this will only be the beginning of their expansion into this area.

Kind of wish the Germans would get their act together and finally open up the new airport in Berlin. I could easily see this as an upcoming Scoot destination, especially given Singaporeans' infatuation with Germany and Scoot being more of a leisure airline that doesn't rely on executive travel.

We flew Air Asia X Perth to Stansted in 2010 for a stupidly small amount of money and they were absolutely fine. They are talking about starting up again to Europe when they get their A350s
